Our friends at NAPHA are having their annual Heritage Fund Whirlyball Event on Jan. 18^th, 2009, the day after the ACE No Coaster Con (Chicago).  They are keeping the same format as last year - only the first 60 players to pre-register (no on-site)!

This Sunday (September 14) will be Astroland’s last day.

The longtime operator of the fabled Coney Island amusement park confirmed today that the 46-year-old Coney Island icon will close its doors for good Sunday because a new lease deal couldn’t timely be reached.
